When an interest group, union, or corporation wants to contribute to federal candidates or parties, it must do so through a Political Action Committee (PAC). PACs and individuals are the only entities allowed to contribute funds to candidates. FANA has established the FANA PAC to strengthen our profession’s voice in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. Funded by voluntary contributions, the FANA PAC makes contributions to CRNA-friendly candidates and to legislators particularly influential on healthcare issues important to CRNAs and our patients. Neither a Republican nor a Democratic PAC, the FANA PAC focuses solely on advancing the interests of nurse anesthesia in Florida.
