Partners of Anesthetists in Recovery (PAIR)
Mission Statement: Partners of Anesthetists in Recovery (PAIR) is a voluntary support group for spouses, family members, or significant others of anesthetists in recovery. PAIR works in cooperation with Florida Anesthetists in Recovery (FLAIR), offers a forum for discussion and networking with resources.
Rationale: Finding that Narcotics Anonymous, ALANON, and others were advocating leaving the marriage or relationship, PAIR members felt they needed options that encouraged support. They actually found more hope in attending support groups with their spouses than with ALANON, etc.
